Striped Polar Bear

I hate not being able to sleep. I'm exhausted like hell at the moment but when my head hits the bed, I somehow become wide awake. It's insane. I've been going through this for the past month. It must be a sort of disease. Dammit this is torturous.

I shall just blog and hope that by the time I'm done, I will somehow magically fall asleep. Or maybe I should just sleep on my desk since I only have problem sleeping when I'm in my bed.

Pictures below are from last Saturday when I finally met up for dinner with Khairil after a long time. We keep planning on meeting up but in the end, one of us always bails. Well, in my case I only bailed once. Khairil bailed like 5 times or more? Ass. =p




He picked me up at about 8 and just before we left for dinner, he gave me a very nice surprise. He was all like, "I got you a belated birthday present." I told him that I thought this dinner that he was taking me for was supposed to be my belated present. And then without answering, he produced a bouquet of roses from the back seat. (:

He wanted to take me to some restaurant in KL but it was fully booked so instead he took me to Bora Asmara. I have no idea where this place is located. It's like in the middle of nowhere. But anyway, the place is extremely gorgeous. The atmosphere is really nice but the food isn't all that good. That's just my opinion anyway.

Throughout our dinner there was this group/band that sang and performed various songs. They were really really good and I have a video of them somewhere but I can't remember where I placed it. I'll post it up when I find it. Anyway, at one point they came right next to our table and as they sang, there was this one particular guy who kept smiling at Khai and I. He was singing a love song and it was like he was singing it just to our table.

And since Khairil and I are not a couple, it was kind of weird.
Awkward much? Haha

Went to Rasta which was nearby after that to shisha. Was supposed to go to KL but I was kind of in a rush to get home. So we agreed that we'll go there another day.

And then it was home sweet home right after.

I don't particularly love roses,
but it's nice to be surprised with them every once in awhile.
It just makes your day. =)

Dream A Dream

I dreamt of Vern last night.
And as I recall, he didn't speak a word.
Or maybe he did but I just can't remember.
Everything was a blur but I'm positive that he was there.

It's the first time that I have dreamt of him since his passing.
When I woke up, all I felt was pain in my heart cos I know that he's gone.
But at the same time, I was glad to be able to 'see' him again.

Come visit me more often okay, Vernie? =)

I have never seen a more disturbing cartoon in my entire life. I don't even know if Salad Fingers is a girl or guy. In one episode he's wearing a dress. In another he refers to himself as the older brother. I mean, what the hell?

It's just plain disturbing. I don't know how to describe it so you should just watch it yourself.

Driving Seminar

Why why why do we even have to go sit for that stupid 6 hour seminar bullshit? It's not like they actually teach us anything. All we have to do is read that book that we're given. It's enough. After all, all that they 'teach' during the seminar can be found in the book.

Blehh.

I went for my seminar last week, I think? And I did not sleep for two whole days before that so I was exhausted like hell when I went for the seminar. They picked me up at 7am and I met one of my seniors in the car. Err.. damn I don't know how to spell his name. =/

Nah that's him.

And this is me after not sleeping for more than 48 hours.

We reached about 7 something close to 8 and on my way into the hall, I met Lennard who is another senior of mine. Thank god he was going for the seminar as well. At least I had someone to keep me company.

We were like the earliest to reach and as we waited for the class to begin, we noticed lots of Malays coming in. We were quite surprised cos our class was an English class. So anyway, we waited and waited and waited for goodness knows how long.

Finally the lecturer or wtv you call him said ...

"Siapa yang nak ambil kelas dalam Bahasa Melayu, sila pergi ke bilik sebelah."

Then FWOOOOOSH!

The class became almost empty.

And then the waiting game began again. It was horrible. The class only began at about 10 something? Or 11? I was going to die there. It was so incredibly uncomfortable and all I wanted to do was sleep.

And just my luck, I had to get a lecturer who wouldn't let us sleep or do anything else except pay attention to him. I kept nodding off and almost hitting my head on the table like 23948932 times.

Finally it was break time. I ran out and called my brother to whine on the phone about how sleepy I was and how much I wanted to go home. I know it's bratty and stuff but I just needed to take it all out on someone. My brother was lucky cos when he went for his seminar, his lecturer allowed them to go home much much earlier.

I have to say though that my brother was extremely nice and layan-ed me as I whined and even sent me stupid smses to make me happy. So cute so cute. I still have that sms hahaha.

Before going back in, I met the err other senior again and he lent me his iTouch. His ohsofugginsexy iTouch that I want to rape. So throughout the rest of the lecture, I used his iTouch by concealing the headphones under my shirt and hair. I was listening to Russel Peters and I had to control myself so as not to burst out laughing. >_>

And finally at about 4 something or 5pm, we were done. Which means I spent like approximately 10 hours there. Seriously. I came home and crashed. The government should do away with this stupid seminar. Not like anybody actually listens anyway.

I finally used up my RM20 voucher that I got from the Nuffnang Music Bash. I couldn't find anything to buy all the while but the other day, I stepped into Diva and finally found something. And to be very honest, this is my first purchase ever from Diva. Why? Cos I find that place quite overpriced. But thanks to my voucher, I paid only like Rm20 for it? Yes yes, I know. I'm kiamsiap. -.-

I totally love this necklace. It's what I have been looking for all this while. Four layers and each layer has a cross in black and silver. Those are my favourite colours and it's extremely punkish which is very me. I'm not really a bohemian or flowery or vintage kinda person. So yeahp. I'm happy. (:

And I haven't been posting much bout my brother lately. I miss seeing his blur face in my blog. So here's some pictures of him from the other day when we had dinner at Manhattan Fishmarket.

Honestly, I have never really been very much into choir music but I stumbled upon this video in Youtube and I am soooo glad I watched it. It's amazing! I have never heard a choir like this before. (Well, that's probably cos I don't listen to choir music.)

I got kicked out of my room a few nights ago by a mosquito. A stupid mosquito which flatly refuses to leave my room and has been residing in there ever since. I somehow can't seem to kill it. It keeps escaping! ):

And it keeps biting my face. Of all places.. my face!! I look like I have pimples on my face now but they are not! They are actually bites! And they itch like hell. Raaaaawr get out of my room, stupid mosquito.

Actually, I've come to terms with it living in my room since it doesn't want to get lost. I have even given it a name. I'm calling it Rudolph. Why did I choose that name? No idea actually. >_>


Anyway, I haven't been attending school lately cos I've not been feeling well at all. I'm having flu and sore throat and I don't seem to be getting any better. It's been going on for about a week plus now and so my mum decided to take me to the doctor today.

The doctor says he can't tell if I'm having swine flu or wtv at this stage but he thinks I'm free from it. Though I'm having flu, sore throat, slightly higher temperature than normal and aches and pains, he thinks I'm safe. But he did advice me to stay home and skip school for awhile. So, he wrote me my MC ...


"Shall I write the MC for today and tomorrow only? Should be enough, yes?"
"Erm.. I haven't been attending school since Monday."
"Oooooh like that then I give you whole week off, okay? Want or not?"
"WAAAAANT!" :D

Dr. Chong is now officially my favourite doctor hahaha.

I hate medicine.

What else happened today. Oh yes. As you all know, the NS list is out and I was lucky enough to not be chosen. Daddy is in Philippines right now and he didn't know about it. So, when he called to check up on me, I told him that the doc said I have swine flu.

He totally fell for it. -.-

Then, I told him the truth and he was relieved as hell. Next, I told him bout NS and I said that I got chosen. I thought that he wouldn't fall for it since I just conned him right before I said that but guess what?

He fell for it again.

HAHAHAH Daddy why are you so gullible?


Okay what's next. Hmmm. Oh yes. I bought a new pair of heels! I totally have no need for them but I just couldn't resist them. They fit my feet perfectly and once I slipped them on, I just couldn't seem to take them off. So, I got them. Woohoo!

I've always been more of a footwear than clothes person. I can resist buying all sorts of clothes but when I've got my eyes set on a particular pair of footwear, I just have to have it. And yes, I know I'm always seen wearing my Cons and not my heels. What can I say? Cons are extremely comfortable and they go with almost anything! So yeah. But anyway, I like my new heels. (:

I've been spending quite a lot of time with the home schooled bunch recently. And to be honest, I actually enjoy their company more than hanging out with other public schooled kids. I have no reason for feeling that way... I just do.

So I went out with them the other day. It was as Bryan put it, 'a sausage fest' cos I was the only girl. But still, it was pretty fun and I enjoyed myself. We watched Terminator Salvation and I had to shift seats because Bryan wouldn't stop talking. Noisy bugger. :P

I have never watched a single Terminator movie before this so I had absolutely no idea what the hell was going on. But I still found it very entertaining. And the fact that Christian Bale is sooooooooo steaming hot helped a lot.

He's waaaaay older than I am but you know... maybe we could be the next Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes wteff. Look out TomKat! C. Bale and I are gonna take over Hollywood's news!! And we're gonna make beautiful babies !!!
